These methodologies and processes are reinforced through our organization's externally accredited certifications, which include ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 IT Service Management Systems (SMS, corporate ITIL certification), ISO 27001:2005 Information Security Management System (ISMS), and CMMI-DEV Level 3.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Oracle Databases in a RAC and non RAC environmentAssist in troubleshooting database issuesAssist in database performance tuningResponsible for installing and configuring databasesResponsible for RMAN backup of databasesResponsible for applying quarterly Oracle database patch and database upgradeQualificationsMinimum skills and qualifications:US Citizenship required. No Dual CitizensAbility to acquire a Public Trust4 years or more of IT Delivery and/or Operations experience4 years or more of writing SQL queries4 years or more of managing Oracle databases in a Unix/Linux environmentPossess excellent verbal and written communications skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsBachelors Degree or 4 additional years experience in lieu of degreeAble to work flexible schedule/weekends if neededPreferred skills and qualifications:Experience with Oracle ExadataExperience with managing Oracle databases in a RAC and non RAC environmentExperience with applying Oracle patch in an Oracle Exadata RAC environmentCertified Oracle DBAIT Operations experience in a Homeland Security or Law Enforcement environment
