Active Secret Clearance Required.Aircraft flight softwareSimulated mission systemsLaboratory setups that combine constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system?level modelsLead and mentor a team of integration engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best?practice standards.Develop, integrate, and debug software across the above platforms, ensuring solutions meet mission?critical performance and safety requirements.Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines, implementing reliable, repeatable builds and fostering continuous?delivery culture.Architect and enhance virtual development labs and aircraft?software processes, driving scalability and usability.Design and implement automation tools using open?source, commercial, and in?house solutions, championing reusable frameworks.Coordinate cross?functional efforts, acting as the technical liaison with mission?system experts, simulation specialists, and stakeholder groups.Who You AreA proven leader with deep domain expertise in mission?system software or high?fidelity simulation software.A collaborative team player who thrives in high?performing, multi?program environments and can inspire others to solve complex problems.An effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills, comfortable engaging with customers, senior stakeholders, and cross?organizational teams.Experienced in architectural decision?making, performance profiling, and setting integration standards for aerospace or defense software.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college/university in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience)C++ programming experienceLinux/Unix experienceHardware troubleshooting and/or software debuggingExperience leading a team of engineersDesired skills:Experience with software integration, debugging, and system level testing.Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).Proficiency in scripting/automation languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).Knowledge of aircraft or mission system software development cyclesExposure to simulated environments and hardware in the loop testing.
