Senior UKG Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer, UKG to provide technical leadership and hands-on development support for a large-scale UKG implementation. This role will serve as the technical SME for UKG, driving solution design, integrations, security administration, and platform configuration while partnering closely with business and implementation teams. The ideal candidate is highly technical, hands-on ("finger on keys"), and experienced delivering UKG solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

-Serve as the technical SME and lead developer for the UKG platform.

-Design, build, and support integrations between UKG and enterprise systems such as HRIS, Payroll, ERP, and Identity Management platforms.

-Configure UKG applications, business rules, workflows, and technical components to meet business requirements.

-Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and provide technical guidance throughout implementation.

-Assist with establishing and administering UKG security, roles, permissions, and access controls.

-Support system testing, troubleshooting, deployments, upgrades, and production support activities.

-Collaborate with implementation partners and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of UKG solutions.

-Provide mentorship and technical leadership to project team members while remaining actively involved in development and configuration work.

Skills and Requirements

-7+ years of software development, systems integration, or enterprise application experience.

-5+ years of hands-on experience with UKG Dimensions, UKG Pro WFM, Workforce Central, or similar UKG platforms.

-Strong experience with APIs, integrations, middleware, ETL processes, and SQL.

-Experience configuring and administering application security and role-based access controls.

-Proven track record leading technical solution delivery while remaining hands-on with configuration and development.

-Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. -Experience with UKG Integration Hub, Workforce Integration Manager (WIM), Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar integration technologies.

-Experience supporting large-scale UKG implementations.

UKG certifications and experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
