Job Description

Job TitleSoftware DeveloperJob DescriptionAnalyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization's products and systems. Contributes to the full product lifecycle by performing software development, executing hardware and software integration tests, and developing and validating all feature functionality and user documentation. Candidates are expected to work in a team environment, using the latest industry-standard agile practices to plan, implement, and deliver products and services.Required Skills (one or more of):C/C++Linux (multiple variants)Windows developmentPython, Perl / PowershellJavaMake, BashNetwork Protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, UDP)Desired Skills:Agile software development and/or Git/JIRA experience is a plusMobile application and/or platform development, including Android and iOSDriver developmentEmbedded programmingSIP, RTP, RTCP ProtocolsExperience in debugging and strong analytical skillsSecurity concepts such as authentication, access control, authorization, and cryptographyStrong communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Gen AI and LLM is a plusTarget Base Salary Range: $73,800 - $107,600 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.Basic RequirementsBachelor's (BS) or Master's (MS) degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.1 to 2 years of relevant embedded system software development experience.US Citizenship required.
