Receiving And Inventory AssociateOur client, a specialty manufacturing company located in Carmel, IN, has partnered with Express to find a Receiving and Inventory Associate as they continue to grow. This is a blended role, with responsibilities shifting based on operational needs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is hands-on, and is comfortable supporting both warehouse and production operations.This is an evaluation, contract-to-hire position paying $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience. While working with Express, you will have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.What You Will Do as a Receiving and Inventory Associate?This is a blended role, with responsibilities shifting based on operational needs.Receiving - 35%Inventory Management - 20%Pick/Pack - 20%Shipping - 5%Assembly - 20%Materials and receiving duties include assisting with receiving incoming materials and verifying shipments, using scan guns or inventory systems to track and move materials (preferred), putting away, staging, and moving materials throughout the facility, and helping ensure smooth material flow to support production needs.Assembly duties include using basic hand tools to assemble products while following detailed work instructions, performing quality testing and inspections on assembled products, and assisting with packaging finished products for shipment.What qualifications will you have as a Receiving and Inventory Associate?Experience with receiving, materials handling, or inventory movement is required.Prior assembly experience is preferred.Candidates must be able to read and understand work instructions in English, be willing to shift between materials and assembly tasks as needed and demonstrate a team-oriented mindset with flexibility to help where needed.A strong history of punctuality, reliability, and consistent attendance is required.We look forward to working with you.
