Warehouse Associate

Overview Warehouse Associate at Floor & Decor. You are the backbone of our retail location, responsible for compiling orders and replenishing/moving merchandise on the sales floor or to a customer’s vehicle. Your day includes checking inventory and orders, interacting with customers, and operating a forklift. If you are friendly, organized, hard-working and thrive in a warehouse environment, Floor & Decor is the place for you.

Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available.

Key Responsibilities Demonstrate and understand compliance with the company’s safety processes.

Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

Provide above-and-beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.

Restock show floor with product and organize merchandise to company standards for easy shopping.

Load out customers with the correct product and help them find items; answer questions as needed.

Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.

Keep work area clean and safe.

Qualifications Must be 18 years or older

Knowledge of basic math

Warehouse experience

Customer service experience

Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred but not required

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure

Completion of forklift certifications through Floor & Decor

Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test

Working Conditions Exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise level typically quiet to moderate

Physical/Sensory Requirements Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally and 20–30 pounds of force frequently; may lift up to greater than negligible up to 20 pounds constantly

Frequent use of hands and fingers; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb/balance, kneel, crouch or crawl
