Warehouse AssociateJohnson Service Group, a nationwide staffing company, is looking for a Warehouse Associate with 1-2 years' experience performing critical operational functions that support the movement, traceability, and integrity of aerospace fastener inventory throughout the distribution process. This is a Temp-Direct job for an Aerospace company in Carson, CA. Schedule: Monday–Friday, either 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Salary: $18.50 HR This role executes receiving, inventory control, kitting, picking, packing, and shipping activities in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards. This position supports all operational departments within the warehouse and may be assigned to any operational function at any time based on production flow, workload balancing, and customer demand. The Warehouse Associate ensures that all materials are handled, processed, documented, and transferred accurately in order to maintain inventory accuracy, product traceability, and on-time delivery performance. The role operates within an AS9100-compliant aerospace distribution environment, requiring strict adherence to documented procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and system controls. Essential Responsibilities/Duties Operational Flexibility Warehouse Associates are required to support any operational area within the warehouse based on business needs, including receiving, inventory control, kitting, picking, packing, and shipping. Employees must be capable of rotating between departments to support workflow efficiency and customer commitments. Receiving Operations Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and supplier certifications. Validate quantities using approved counting methods, scales, or system controls. Inspect packaging for visible damage or discrepancies. Confirm required documentation such as Certificates of Conformance (COC), material certifications, and traceability documentation. Receive materials into the ERP system (SAP or equivalent) accurately and in real time. Label and route material to the correct inspection, quarantine, or storage location. Identify and escalate discrepancies including: quantity differences damaged goods missing certifications incorrect product Follow documented procedures for nonconforming material handling.
