PostgreSQL DBA

Job Description Overview

We are looking for a PostgreSQL DBA to help support our growing PostgreSQL environment in Azure. This candidate will need excellent verbal and written skills, be willing to participate in on-call responsibilities, and work well with team members and Software Engineers.

Responsibilities

Database and table design reviews in Github

Performance monitoring

Performance tuning

Database backup and recovery

Replication support

Security management

On-call support and Emergency support

Requirements Requirements:

Great verbal and written skills

5-10 years PostgreSQL

Bachelor's+ degree or equivalent experience

Code reviews

Scripting

Performance tuning

Optimization

Disaster Recovery

Replication

User Management

Willing to be part of an on-call rotation

Plus to have:
