Project EngineerNOVO Construction, Inc., a General Contractor is seeking a professional individual with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to work as a Project Engineer for a project in Dallas, TX.Roles & Responsibilities:Take part in Business Development (meals, entertainment, events, leisure, trips)Actively participate in preconstructionSupport project manager in ownership of the construction processSupport project manager in ownership of cost controlAssist with communication between client, design team and subcontractorsWork with your team to manage all documents (RFI, Submittal, Change Orders)The Ideal Candidate will possess:Familiarity with construction process and technology required to build in this day and ageStrong communication skills onsite and with client/architect/landlordLoves to build stuff!Experience in interior tenant improvements or ground upEducation/Experience/Qualifications:Has qualified and relevant experience as a Project Engineer for a commercial general contractor for a few yearsAble to operate in a fast-paced working environment with minimal direction from Senior ManagementAble to effectively email, build schedules, read drawings & use platforms such as PlangridStrong verbal and written communication skills
