Program Analyst

Job Description

DutiesConducts financial and budgetary planning, programming, and analysis for the HQ-USACE Dam and Levee Safety Risk Management Programs.Manages funding, tracks execution, and resolves complex issues related to funding and appropriations for dam and levee safety initiatives.Applies management principles to ensure resources are optimally funded to meet national Dam and Levee Risk Management Program mission requirements.Evaluates funding resources, forecasts and makes periodic and quarterly assessments on the execution of each program, and provides guidance to subordinate activities.Develops positions on the appropriate use of funds, interprets policy, provides guidance, and defends Dam and Levee Safety programs.
